After age old restriction on the usage of phones by students during school hours, Karnataka has come up with the same restriction for teachers. In an attempt to create an ideal environment in schools, the department of public instruction has issued a circular for a ban on the use of mobile phones by govt school teachers in K'taka. The circular further puts onus on the school principal to discipline teachers if they are found using phones during school working hours.
