Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his side must demonstrate greater confidence in the weeks ahead after his first home Premier League game ended in a 1-1 draw with Southampton.

Liverpool took a second-half lead thanks to a Christian Benteke header but were pegged back late on through a close-range finish from Sadio Mane, who was subsequently sent off in stoppage time after picking up a second yellow card.

The Reds are now unbeaten in their last five Premier League games - but have drawn four of those matches.
