A woman has revealed how staff at a restaurant gifted her autistic stepson the ultimate act of kindness - by inviting him to help wash the DISHES.

Slade Denton, 11, has high-functioning autism and is obsessed with dishwashers and washing machines.

Stepmom Katie Denton, 31, said when he goes out and about he asks about the equipment stored behind the scenes.

Last weekend one restaurant made his day by letting him experiment with their industrial dishwasher.
