Yob attempts to rob a petrol station armed with a can of Red-Bull

The youth is caught on CCTV wearing a black 'raiders' cap as he jumped over the counter and struggled with the shop assistant who slams him up against a wall. But the brazen intruder, believed to be in his late teens, pushed the brave cashier out the way and tried to open a locked till. As a horrified customer watches, the suspect then leaps over the shop counter and fleeing empty-handed - but still clutching the drink can. Police were called to the attempted robbery in Dagenham, east London, on Friday September 2 at around 7.30pm and have released CCTV footage in a bid to trace the culprit. The suspect is described as a white man of slim build in his late teens with blond hair and was carrying a black 'raiders' cap and a black bag.
