Mad-cap artist creates World Wonders - out of LEGO

A talented artist has realised his childhood dream by creating famous landmarks from around the world - using thousands of pieces of LEGO.
Warren Elsmore, 38, has painstakingly built models of well-known sites such as the Great Wall of China, the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls with the colourful bricks.
He has also recreated the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which include the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Temple of Artemis.
Warren, from Edinburgh, decided to ditch his job as an IT consultant after being commissioned to build a Lego model for the 2012 London Olympics.
He had always been obsessed with Lego as a kid and leapt at the opportunity to turn his hobby into a full-time job.
Yesterday (Fri) he said: “There aren’t really any limits with Lego, apart from imagination and time.
“I wanted to do something really different and decided to go back in time and look at the history of the world.
“I wanted to create the trip around the world that you’ve always wanted to do, but have never had the chance to.
“The whole point is to put a smile on people’s faces and maybe inspire them to go home and build something themselves.
