Dairy farmers take to the supermarkets to protest over milk prices
  • 5 years ago
A Scots dairy farmer has told how he is losing £200 a day due to a drop in milk prices. Bryce Cunningham, 28, is the third generation of his family to farm at West Mossghiel Farm near Mauchline. Like his father and grandfather before him, Bryce rents the land which is used exclusively for dairy farming. But he is facing an uncertain future as the price of milk has continued to drop over the past six months. Bryce, who is supporting a wife and four month old baby, said the reduced price had affected “every day life completely”.
