A hero schoolgirl saved the life of an instructor who suffered a stroke while they were white water RAFTING on a charity trip to Kenya. Quick-thinking Leticia Salmon, 16, leapt into action when the 57-year-old man began shaking uncontrollably and had trouble speaking. The teenager - who recognised the signs from when her mum suffered a stroke two years ago - used her first aid training and wrapped a blanket around the stricken instructor. She then alerted the tour leader who was travelling in a boat behind them and joined an all-male crew to help paddle the man to shore.
