CCTV footage capturing Patricia Tutton (Green Coat) being injured by a falling sign. A pensioner says her active life has come to a "complete standstill" after she was hit on the head by a falling shop sign in Falmouth which could have killed her. The 25kg sign fell 8ft from the frontage of the Mountain Warehouse shop, knocking 79-year-old Patricia Tutton unconscious, breaking her cheekbone and damaging her spine. Mrs Tutton now says her once active life has come to a "complete standstill" since the incident in 2011. While the company which installed the sign has now been officially cautioned, Mrs Tutton remains unable to perform what were once routine tasks and been forced to stop going to weekly bowls and dance clubs.
