A pensioner has been reunited with his first car which he bought 56 years ago after a hunt which lasted a decade. Brian Rollings, 78, finally tracked down the 1936 Austin Seven Opal Tourer which he bought when he was 17 in 1953 for just £140 from a Birmingham greengrocer. The great-grandad, from Walsall. West Mids was the envy of all his pals having the car and he used to use it to take them on trips. Two years later he traded the Austin in for a more modern Ford Popular 103E never thinking he would be reunited with the vehicle he had been so proud of.
