Miracle baby Scarlett Ungurs, who defied all odds and made it to her third Christmas - despite doctors believing she would die before the age of one. Little Scarlett Ungurs, three, was diagnosed with a rare heart condition when she was just six months old which left her fighting for her life. The youngster was placed at the top of the transplant list and was kept alive by an artificial heart. Doctors told her parents, Ashleigh Leybourne, 28, and Darren Ungurs, 34, to expect the worst and the pair started to make funeral arrangements.
