This is the moment a group of lads on a night out stunned CCTV
operators when they used their brute strength to REPAIR a damaged bike
rack. The gang of youths noticed the large metal stand was bent
halfway to the floor as they waited outside a takeaway in Boston,
Lincs. But instead of causing more damage, the revellers put their
food down on the pavement and heaved the giant hoop back into shape.
Shocked Boston Borough Council officials recorded the astonishing
scene as it unfolded at 3am on August 31 this year. The footage shows
five lads discussing a strategy for around four minutes before
wrestling for another 13 minutes to straighten the bent bike stand.
Remarkably the hoop, which had been knocked almost flat after a car
had run into it several weeks ago, was as good as new by the time the
group had finished.
