Pensioners John and Jan Brooks were duped into buying the 180,000 euro hill-top property by a local developer who built the stunning home without planning permission. They only found out when Spanish police turned up at the three-bed home to issue a demolition notice. Their rural retreat is one of four illegally built by corrupt builders on a hill side in Andalusia, all bought by unsuspecting Brit expats.
