Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. As we kick off the month of June, most of the beaches in the nation have opened today. Tomorrow will be a repeat of today's conditions, so if you are planning on going out, be sure to take sunglasses and sunscreen lotions. Also, check the statues of dust levels before heading out.
In the morning, the temperature is still relatively cool,... Seoul starting off at 18 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju a few degrees lower at 17 and 16 degrees, respectively.
The afternoon high in Seoul rises up to 29 degrees, while Gwangju and Busan top out to 31 and 26 degrees.
Hotter than seasonal average readings are expected for the next couple of days,... and other than Jeju on Tuesday, the nation will be under sunny skies.
