Police Seize $2.75 Million in Cash, Machine Guns and Drugs From Waterloo Property

Two men will face court on Friday, June 1, after police seized illicit drugs, numerous firearms and millions in cash from a storage facility in Waterloo on Wednesday.Acting on intelligence gathered over several months, Strike Force Raptor officers raided the Waterloo facility to unearth $2.75 million in cash, 1.15 kilograms of cocaine, 1.1 kilograms of ice and 13 firearms including 5 sub-machine guns, two semi-automatic pistols and two revolvers.A 34-year-old man was arrested at Sydney Airport on Thursday as he arrived on a flight from New Zealand; another 32-year-old man was arrested in Alexandria.
