Robert Pattinson and Timothee Chalamet Team Up For New Netflix Film The pair will join Joel Edgerton and Ben Mendelsohn in ‘The King,’ a 15th century
period drama. According to Netflix, the film is based on William Shakespeare’s 'Henry IV' and 'Henry V', and will see Chalamet’s Hal (Henry) deal with inheriting the crown and “must learn what it means to be a king, guided by his one true friend, Falstaff.” Edgerton will play Falstaff, while Pattison will play a French Duke and Ben Mendelsohn will play King Henry IV. David Michod, the director of Netflix's 'War Machine', has signed on to lead the film.
