Martha Stewart The POTUS told reports on Thursday that the former “Apprentice” contestant may be pardoned for her 2004
federal conviction. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Stewart lied to investigators about a stock sale and was convicted on obstruction of justice, making false statements and conspiracy. Stewart served five months in prison and later paid $195,000 to settle civil charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission. After the charges, she was also denounced as the CEO of her own company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and later sold it in 2015 for $355 million.
