Liam Fox: US steel tariff imposition is “patently absurd”

International Trade Secretary Liam Fox today described the imposition of new tariffs on imported steel and aluminium from the EU to the US as “patently absurd”. Donald Trump was accused of firing the starting pistol on an international trade war, as the US administration slapped swingeing new tariffs which will come into effect on Friday. Report by Blairm.
