How I cleared my skin | From Severe Acne to Clear Skin

Finally I am talking about my skin. A lot of you have been asking me about I have done but I didnt want to talk about it until I felt that I had found a permanent solution. I have gone through so many ups and downs with my skin, so I am so glad to see the progress that it has made. \r

It was really hard for me to dig up those pictures and expose them online but I really hope this is helpful to someone. I know how it is to feel so helpless when it comes to dealing with severe acne. I thought it was a cursed really and I felt like I had exhausted all my options so I decided to take a different approach when it came to taking care of myself. \r

If you are at a lost like I was, step back and try to get to the root of the problem. Pilling on products on your skin may help for some, but if something is out of whack internally, there is so much products can do. Basically, acne is an indication that something is off internally so getting to the root of the problem may yield a permanent solution. I came to the conclusion that my acne was mainly hormonal. I was also irregular, indicating that my hormones were not balanced. \r

My Skin Type: \r
Oily to combination, sesitive skin. As long as I get a pimple, I know it will leave a mark caused by the initial inflammation \r

How did I clear my skin: \r
It all started when I decided to take care of myself from the inside out. I have tried so many products from drugstore brands to expensive department store brands and nothing gave me long lasting result until I decided to clean out my diet. I NEEDED to detox, hit a reset button in order for my internal organs to start working efficiently again. \r

I went raw vegan for a year. I mainly consumed fresh fruits and vegetable (I made a TON of smoothies and green juices), quinoa, salads etc. I cut out meat, dairy, sugars, processed foods etc. FullyRawKristina and TheRawBoy are the main channels that gave me meals ideas. \r

At first, it seems like one of those scams (mainly because of how the website is set up lol) but it really has a LOT of useful information, tips and tricks. I followed most of steps and still got some amazing results, as you can see from the pictures. \r

My skin isnt perfect. I still break out from time to time and that is ONLY when I eat poorly. Mother nature doesnt even affect my skin anymore and I am so much more regular now. \r

Although I am no longer vegan, I am contemplating going back. It really want much more expensive, especially if you plan out your meal/look out for sales. I really felt that my body felt so much better but one thing I knew I lacked was proteins. If I do go back on a vegan diet, I will have to figure out a way to increase my protein intake.\r

Did I lose weight when I was vegan? \r
-Yes! I lost about 10lbs, against my will because I am already skinny. I associate it to not eating enough at the beginning but I gained it all back now. \r

-The book recommended to do an allergy testing. We often thing of allergies as as substances that will immediately show symptoms such break out in hives. On the contrary we really sometimes we can be allergic to certain food and not know it as they slowly cause a reion such as acne. Allergy testings are expensive though and I havent gotten around to doing one yet.\r
