DIY Back To School Ideas & Supplies! Paper Towns, Minions & More!

Hey guys!! In todays video I will show you some super cute DIY back to school ideas!\r
\r
\r
Minion pencil holder:\r
For the first idea start off painting the inside of a jar with yellow acrylic paint. You can also swirl the paint and let it spread all over the jar. Then stick some googly eyes onto a piece of cardstock and outline them with a silver marker to make the glasses. Then cut them out. Stick some tape on the jar creating a thin gap as Im doing in the video and paint it black, this will create the black band of the glasses. My eyes were kind of big, so I decided to glue just one of them, and finally I added a cute side smile with a black permanent marker to complete the minion. \r

Cute & easy school supplies:\r
The next idea is perfect for all those boring school supplies. For the pencil, I painted it blue with some acrylic paint, you can also use some washi tape, and then let it dry with the help of a clothes pin. Then I added some white glue to the metal part and cover it in glitter. Sharpen the pencil to remove the excess paint and thats it!\r
For the glue stick, I took some adhesive fabric and measured how much I needed. You can use scrapbook paper too. Then remove the ugly paper from the glue and stick the fabric or scrapbook paper. As you see, it was super simple but it looks really cute.\r

Macaron keychain and clips:\r
To make the macarons, take two little balls of polymer clay in any color you want and press them to flatten them out a little bit. Then take an even smaller ball and roll it to form a thin snake. Then put this around the edge of the circles as Im doing in the video. And poke some holes with the back of a needle to create the texture of the macarons. Take a ball of another color and press it to create the filling and place it in the middle. \r
To make a keychain I poke a hole with a little hook, and then I made some smaller macarons and I poke them with a paper clip. Them, bake them according to the package. Finally just glue the clip and the little hook and add a chain to the big one to create the keychain.\r

Paper towns bookmark:\r
The last idea was inspired by the book paper towns and you will need to start with a piece of cardstock and cut the corners like this. The rest is pretty self explanatory, I just wrote a quote from the book with different letters and designs. Remember to start with pencil in case you make any mistake and then go over with a pen or a marker. I also drew a red pin at the bottom part, and some roads in red and black. Erase the pencil marks and punch a hole and add a ribbon or anything you want. And as I didnt like how this part looked I wrote another design in a piece of cardstock and glued it in place. \r
