Livestream video captured active lava flows from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano in lower Puna, Hawaii, on May 29. The USGS said the “vigorous eruption of lava” continued from the fissure system in the Leilani Estates and Lanipuna Gardens subdivisions.The Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency advised residents to avoid the area due to an increase of volcanic gases and vog emissions in areas downwind of the vents.
