With summer vacations drawing tourists by the minute to the clooer climes of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and more than half a dozen districts in the state including tourist spots are facing a severe drinking water crisis. Due to lack of precipitation in the winter, major water sources have dried up. Meanwhile, ctizens are visibly aggrieved and have threatened to lock down of the local muncipal corporation if the problem isn't resolved soon.
