Next Media: Nine dead after fire breaks out on India express train

At least nine people were killed when a fire broke out in three cars of an express train in India early today. The fire was reported at around 2am as the train was traveling from Mumbai in western India to Dehradun in the northern state of Uttarakhand. The BBC reports that the fire broke out in one of the second class sleeper cars and spread to two other connecting carriages. — Reuters
