Than Mayom Waterfall is one of the best family waterfalls on Koh Chang, Thailand because of it's easy to access and safe waters. It's part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park so there's also always a park ranger watching over your safety at the main waterfall. Often times, 1 of 2 rangers is always in the waterfall pool with visitors because of the island's hot temperature.

The rock formation to the left if you're facing the waterfall, has a royal symbol carved into the boulder. Most likely representing the visits from 2 previous Thai kings a bit over 100 years ago which gives it its prestigious allure. It's part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park so there are 200 baht tickets for adults and 100 baht tickets for kids fees for visitors. If you can do both Than Mayom Waterfall and Klong Plu Waterfall (opposite sides of the island) in one day, you only have to pay the admission fee to the national park once. Be sure to keep the ticket after the first waterfall and enjoy.
