A young woman made her way home from Vancouver, Canada, to County Kildare, Ireland, to vote in the referendum on abortion laws in the country, surprising her mom along the way.In a video shared on her Twitter page, Michelle Sweeney is seen walking in to her yard to greet her mother, who looks shocked to see her. “Last minute flight from Vancouver to London: $1500. Length of journey: 15 hours. Repealing the 8th: priceless. Me mas’s reaction [sic]: also priceless,” Sweeney tweeted.
