North Korea's vice foreign minister Choe Son-hui said today that... she will suggest to leader Kim Jong-un... that he reconsider meeting with President Trump if the U.S. continues what she called its "unlawful and outrageous acts."
Choe handles U.S. affairs at the North's foreign ministry.
She responded in particular to recent comments by Vice President Mike Pence.
He had warned earlier this week that Kim Jong-un trying to "play" President Trump would be a "great mistake," and that if Kim fails to strike a deal his regime will "end like the Libyan model," referring to the downfall of Moammar Gadhafi.
Choe said North Korea is capable of inflicting upon the U.S. a terrible tragedy of a kind it has never experienced before.
She said the North will not beg to get a meeting with Trump... and that it's Washington's behavior that'll determine whether there's a summit in Singapore or a nuclear showdown.
