GOP, Dems Work To Bridge Internet Gap Between Urban, Rural Americans

Lawmakers have reached across the aisle to close the rural-urban divide when it comes to broadband internet access. According to BroadcastingCable.com, New Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire and Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia co-sponsored the Rural Wireless Comparability Act, which was approved by the Senate Commerce Committee Tuesday.
