Geisha: Flowers of Kyoto

Geisha: Flowers of Kyoto is a short film shot in April, new. It depicts the maiko and geiko of Miyagawacho, Gion and Pontocho, as well as the sakura and ume blossom in the Japanese springtime.\r

These shots were filmed for my upcoming cherry blossom documentary about hanami, but thought it would be nice to put together a geisha montage.\r

I have cheated a little bit and included one or two blossom shots from Kanazawa and Hiroshima, but most are from around Kyoto.\r
