The Nations Trophy, launched in 2017, is a two-year focal event in the world of Swan One Design.
Open to ClubSwan 50s, Swan 45s and ClubSwan 42s, the 2017 Nations trophy also helped determine the Swan 45 World Championship, in addition to the ClubSwan 50 and Swan 42 European Championships. The Nations Trophy was decided by combining the positions of the seats of the two boats at the top of each competing country. The winning nation was the one with the lowest score ever and won a brand-new perpetual trophy created by the luxury jeweler and silversmith Buccellati
