Jamie Foxx Confirmed as Emcee for 2018 BET Awards This will be Foxx’s second time emceeing the awards show, which will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 24. The ‘Beat Shazam’ host last helmed the ceremony in 2009, which largely commemorated Michael Jackson days after his death. This year’s list of nominees is dominated by DJ Khaled, who leads the pack with six nods, including album of the year and best collaboration for “Wild Thoughts.” Other nominees include Beyoncé, Rihanna, SZA and Migos. The 18th annual BET Awards will air live at 8 p.m.
