Nipah virus kills 3 people in Kerala; 6 suspected cases, 8 cases under surveillance

The rare and deadly virus that has claimed 10 lives so far is becoming a serious cause of concern in the state. 18 samples have been tested out of which 12 samples have been tested positive and 2 in critical conditions. The central expert team that was rushed to Kerala yesterday on the direction of union health minister have found out the deadly virus is transmitted through air.
