South Korea's producer prices rose slightly last month,... recording 18 months of consecutive gain,... mostly on the back of rising oil prices.
According to data released by the Bank of Korea on Monday,... the producer price index -- a leading indicator of consumer inflation -- stood at 1-hundred-4-point-one-three in April,... up half-a-percent from the previous month.
The central bank attributed the increase to the global upward trend of crude oil prices.
