Dismantling of Punggye-ri nuclear test site well underway

While North Korea still has not responded to Seoul's list of journalists chosen to attend the demolition of its nuclear test site,… preparations for it are underway.
North Korea has reportedly started repairing a railway line so that it can carry foreign reporters to the nuclear test site.

North Korean state-sponsored news site DPRK Today announced on Sunday that the dismantling of the regime's nuclear test site will be a meaningful measure.
Highlighting the recent statement by the North's foreign ministry on May 12th about the decision to demolish its Punggye-ri nuclear test site between May 23rd and 25th,… DPRK Today reported that the country's decision to dismantle its nuclear test site is an active move to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula.

Meanwhile, according to 38 North,… the dismantling of the Punggye-ri nuclear yest site is already well underway.
The media outlet said commercial satellite imagery that was taken last week indicates additional steps towards closure have been taken at the site.

The steps include preparations to build a safe viewing stand for visitors to observe the explosions that will close all three tunnels.

Although North Korea still has not responded to Seoul's list of journalists chosen to attend the demolition ceremony,... the North seems to be preparing for the visit by foreign journalists to witness the final site closure between May 23rd and 25th,... which will reportedly involve the "collapsing all of its tunnels with explosions, blocking their entrances, and removing all observation facilities, research buildings and security posts."
