China's Mission to Moon's Far Side

China is going to the moon!

According to the Guardian, China’s mission to explore the Moon’s far side will take off on Monday.

Starting with launch of the Chang’e 4 relay satellite, China is planning on landing a rover to explore the lunar far side.

The far side landing would be a first for humanity …
… and will take plenty of work.

Since the Moon’s far side is always pointed away from Earth, it’ll be impossible communicate directly with the rover.

Therefore, the launch will include a few other satellites …
… to relay messages between the rover and Earth.

If all goes well, China plans on landing humans on the Moon by the end of 2030!

Humanity moving forward!
