Woman handcuffed by police after reaching into car to pet stranger’s dog

A woman was handcuffed by police after she reached inside a stranger’s car to pet a dog in Washington, D.C., on May 17.
“This woman walked up to my car and reached inside to pet my dog,” the filmer said. “I rolled the window up and told her no.”
“She was still trying to force her way past my boyfriend into the car,” the filmer continued. “I got out and told her to keep it moving. She didn’t. She continued to antagonize me and then threw her bag against my car saying, ‘Do you want to fight?’”
“Police intervened from there as they were watching from across the street the whole time.”
In the video, three police officers are seen handcuffing the woman.
“You do not have the right to arrest,” the woman tells the officers. “I have not done anything wrong. Let go of me.”
The situation escalates as it appears the woman is resisting the officers’ attempts to handcuff her.
“Stop fighting,” one of the officers yells.
“Let go of me,” the woman screams. “I haven’t done anything wrong.”
The woman becomes very emotional after they handcuff her, and she ends up sitting on the sidewalk while continuing to have a heated discussion with the police and the filmer.
