S. Korea's NSC convenes meeting; Blue House view N. Korea's threat "difficult process to arrive at same picture"

Officials at South Korea's top office held closed door meetings all day on Wednesday.
This followed North Korea's pre-dawn cancellation of the high-level inter-Korean talks and its threat to scrap next month's summit with President trump,... claiming to have no interest in a "one-sided" affair meant to pressure Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear weapons.
In a text message to reporters late afternoon, President Moon's communications secretary said there hasn't been much change or progress in Cheongwadae's position.
He said they are focused on trying to figure out the true intention behind Pyongyang's sudden departure from its latest diplomatic outreach... adding the current situation is viewed as an extremely difficult process in trying to arrive at the same picture.
The standing committee of South Korea's National Security Council has just convened its weekly meeting to discuss the North's sudden change in tone.
