Rudy Giuliani recently said that President Trump’s legal team will be using the Mueller investigation’s one-year anniversary on Thursday to push for the Russia probe’s end.

President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani recently said that the president's legal team will be using the Mueller investigation's one-year anniversary on Thursday to push for the Russia probe's end.  "We are going to try as best we can to put the message out there that it has been a year, there has been no evidence presented of collusion or obstruction, and it is about time for them to end the investigation," Giuliani told Bloomberg on Tuesday. "We don't want to signal our action if this doesn't work — we are going to hope they listen to us — but obviously we have a Plan B and C," he further noted. The president has long been vocal about his objection to the investigation, often taking to Twitter to air his grievances.  His most recent tweets on the matter include, "Is this Phony Witch Hunt going to go on even longer so it wrongfully impacts the Mid-Term Elections, which is what the Democrats always intended? Republicans better get tough and smart before it is too late!"
"The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice...and just wait 'till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!" Trump also tweeted. Notably, Robert Mueller is a "longtime registered Republican," reports the Washington Post.
