Anti-Erdogan protesters hang huge banner from Westminster Bridge

Activists draped a huge banner across London's Westminster Bridge and let off flares to protest the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this evening (May 15).

Supporters of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) draped the banner that read "taman" (roughly translated as "enough") and let off flairs on the bridge, yards away from the Houses of Parliament.

"Today we're here to show our disgust and disappointment," said one protester.
