Carbon monoxide from keyless cars have killed at least 28 and injured 45 since 2006.
Sometimes, drivers mistakenly believe their cars are off after parking them.
That can result in deadly carbon monoxide filling their garages and homes.
In 2011, the federal government proposed demanding warning systems in keyless vehicles.
However, the auto industry opposed the regulation and has yet to be implemented.
