Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (Victoria Eugenie Julia Ena; 24 October 1887 -- 15 April 1969) was Queen of Spain as the wife of King Alfonso Xİ. She was the only daughter of Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom and Prince Henry of Battenberg. A carrier of hemophilia, when it was revealed that their eldest son had the dreaded disease, her marriage with Alfonso deteriorated. Juan Carlos I of Spain is her grandson.
