The title comes from the disbelief that these events around the world are “actually happening.” With the help of London based EDM producer/ ALLTRAPMUSIC founder Jikay, This is Actually Happening was crafted during the weeks leading up to Donald Trumps confusing win over Hillary Clinton. Ladotee being a Mexican born immigrant with a criminal past was personally affected by this upsetting tyrant, while wrapping up his last year on probation. At the same time, the San Diego based M.C was dealing with a breakup from his long time girlfriend of ve years. The M.C’s debut EP is lled with heart break, ego, and creative story telling.
