Childish Gambino's 'This is America' Debuts at No. 1 Gambino’s latest single skyrocketed atop the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100, unseating Drake’s “Nice For What,” which spent four weeks reigning supreme. “This is America” is now the artist’s first single to ever reach the No. 1 spot, let alone the top 10. The music video for the single has amassed over 110 million views on YouTube since its May 5th release, and it spurred tons of social media discussions about race relations and issues affecting black Americans. Gambino will be heading a tour this fall with guests Rae Sremmurd and Vince Staples.
