New warnings and graphics to be added on tobacco products

Expect stronger warnings on tobacco products In Korea starting later this year.
According to the nation's health ministry, pictures showing the ravages of cancer will be more explicit, and written warnings will specifically describe how smoking raises the risk of different diseases.
Plus Seoul is set to become the first in the world to put graphic warnings on so-called "heat-not-burn" cigarettes... showing they can be just as harmful as ordinary smokes.
The new labels will appear starting December 23rd.
To further increase the effectiveness of the warnings, the government plans to explore options like... making them bigger... or introducing plain packaging with no branding.
