At least five died as 20 tourists fell into a river and were swept by it when a bridge collapsed in Neelum Valley of Azad Kashmir on Sunday, according to police.
25 tourists had stopped on the bridge to take pictures when the bridge gave way to the river’s strong current, according to police.
Six people were rescued after a rescue operation by the authorities was initiated, the reports stated.
The locals said that the victims were likely students of two medical colleges from Lahore and Faisalabad who were touring the valley.
