Ferrari has unveiled their next supercar called the Ferrari 488 Pista, the successor to Ferrari’s previous special series cars, the 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia and 458 Speciale, each of which featured undiluted performance and handling. The Ferrari 488 Pista marks a significant step forward from the previous special series cars in both performance dynamics and for the level of technology derived from Ferrari’s racing efforts. Powering the 488 Pista is a twin turbo V8 engine, which generates 710 hp at 8,000 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm in 7th gear. It is the most powerful V8 in Ferrari history! The 488 Pista will accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and from 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in just 7.6 seconds. It has a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
