Suzuki Swift RS Preview

The current, familiar, and hugely popular Suzuki Swift has been around for nearly seven years. So it’s high time for a replacement, and that’s what Suzuki have provided. With a new lightweight platform, which is shared with the Baleno and Ignis, the new Swift offers more technology, new engines and with the weight loss from the previous, this model should be more nimble than ever. There are four models of Swift currently available, starting with the $19,990 GL Manual and $21,990 GL Auto (with CVT transmission). The GL features tilt adjustable steering wheel, electric windows, electrically adjustable mirrors, cruise control, two speaker audio system, Bluetooth, Manual aircon, leather wheel, halogen headlights, privacy glass, LED running lights, 15” steel wheels, ABS, EBD, ESP, six airbags, hill hold (on the auto), and a 4 cylinder 16 valve 1.2l engine making 66kW/120Nm. The manual had a kerb weight of just 870kg, 925 for the auto.
