U.S. welcomes three Americans released from North Korea
  • 6 years ago
The three Americans are back on U.S. soil.
They arrived at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, D.C. just minutes ago... and and President Trump was there to greet them right at 2:54 AM, local time.
Trump had announced their release hours earlier in a tweet.
The three are Kim Hak-song and Tony Kim -- both of whom worked at a Pyongyang university and were detained by the North Korean regime about a year ago -- also Kim Dong-chul, a Christian pastor.
Kim Dong-chul had been detained the longest -- more than 900 days.
Their families have issued a statement thanking President Trump for engaging directly with North Korea.
