Eight month old baby from Punjab weighs 17 Kg

Chahat Kumar, an eight months old baby girl with around 17 kg weight. According to her mother, she was normal at the time of birth but a few months later her weight started to increase abnormally.
A doctor speaks about Chahat. He says, "They came to me a few days before and they told me that her baby girl was normal at the time of birth but her weight started increasing after a few months. Doctors are unable to diagnose Chahat’s condition as she has abnormally hard skin that makes it difficult to take blood samples."
Chahat's mother Reena speaks about her daughter Chahat. She says, "At the time of birth she was normal but her weight started increasing after a few months. She is only eight months old and her weight is around 20 kg. I had also given birth a son before Chahat was born but the child passed away. Now she is the only kid we have and we do not want to lose her."
