‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Holds Onto No. 1 Spot At Box Office

“Avengers: Infinity War” has held onto the top spot at the box office, earning around $112.5 million in its second weekend in theatres. The $112.5 million is a 56 percent drop from 'Infinity War's' record $257 million opening, but is consistent with other May Marvel releases. On Saturday, the movie also reached $1 billion worldwide after just 11 days in theaters, beating the previous record held by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens," by a single day.
