COPS PULLING OVER SUPERCARS IN LONDON - DISCUSSION
  • 6 years ago
Additional info on the MC Stradale case:\r
I was walking through Knightsbridge when I heard the MC Stradale driving through Sloane street. Shortly after that I saw it being pulled over by the cops for making backfire. Now as you all undoubtedly know, a stock MC Stradale doesnt backfire. So that is ridiculous number one. Second, when I was witnessing how the older female cop was fining the driver, another colleague admitted that he didnt know the difference between backfiring and downshifting. The owner kept pointing this difference out to the other woman who was fining him, but she refused to listen to anything he had to say. She had no knowledge about sportscars whatsoever, left alone what the difference is between downshifting and backfiring. The childish and disrespectful way of waving at the owner after I stopped filming was just as much of a disgrace. \r

The GT4 and the GT-R cases are pretty clear, although I dont agree with the measures this same female cop used on the GT4 owner. It looked like the driver committed a serious crime when he was being questioned in the back of the police car. The cop just made a total scene out of it, which was unnecessary in my opinion. She could have just given him a warning first of all. \r

Let me know what you guys think about this matter. Are the cops doing a good job you think? Or is this overreing behaviour from the cops?
