Looking, at last, like a team wanting to defend its title, Mumbai Indians' road to redemption in the Indian Premier League 2018 faces another tricky test, as they host a formidable Kolkata Knight Riders. The defending champions seemed resurgent after a tense win over Kings XI Punjab, though their play-off hopes were still hanging by a thread, thanks to a spate of reverses over the past few weeks. Mumbai jumped to the fifth spot having won three of their nine games while KKR are sitting comfortably in the third position. The hosts have to win all their remaining five games to make it to the play-offs.

आईपीएल 11 का 37वां मैच मुंबई इंडियंस और कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के बीच रविवार को मुंबई के वानखेड़े स्टेडियम में खेला जाएगा। 9 में से 5 मैच जीतकर केकेआर प्वाइंट टेबल में तीसरे नंबर पर है तो वहीं 9 में से 3 मैच जीतकर मुंबई इंडियंस की टीम पांचवे नंबर पर है। दोनों ही टीमों ने अपने पिछले मैच जीते हैं। जहां केकेआर ने चेन्नई को आसानी से मात दी थी तो वहीं मुंबई ने किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब को उसके होम ग्राउंड इंदौर में हराया। हालांकि अब अगर मुंबई को प्ले-ऑफ में पहुंचने की अपनी उम्मीदों को कायम रखना है तो रविवार को कोलकाता नाइटराइडर्स के खिलाफ कड़ी परीक्षा में होना होगा।
